One thing I love about my neighborhood is that there are so many fun areas so close to where I live. Brookland is one of those charming neighborhoods that’s a 10 minute drive from my house. I’ve lived in this area for over 20 years and have seen it grow and develop so much. I remember in college, my best friend went to Catholic University and there was literally one little restaurant near her campus and nothing else. But now, Brookland is becoming the “it” town to be. With housing, shops, and studio spaces developing and some great food choices (Hello, Hälsa!), it’s quickly becoming one of my go-to’s.
The weather has slowly been easing into spring and I’ve slowly been easing away from my layers. I’m trying to get the most wear out of my favorite winter pieces for as long as I can. Knits + winter coats have been on heavy rotation for me and I have been loving how they look paired with cool sneakers instead of my usual black booties.
About this look:
Forever 21 everything! (LOL jk, but not really)
