Everything comes alive in the Springtime. Flowers are blooming, grass is growing, and people are way more social than they otherwise would be. Nothing like some sunshine to bring out the best in us. Last week, I had the chance to attend the Toki on Okie event at One Eight Distilling. This event was dubbed the Cherry Blossom Social and it lived up to it’s name! It was a fun party that showcased the spirits distilled right there at One Eight and the delicious foods from Toki Underground.

The space was gorgeous.It’s a (not so little) hidden gem in Ivy City. There were lots of little blooms inside repurposed vodka and whiskey bottles. And the communal tables made it a great way to connect with people. The energy was high and the food was great.

One Eight Distilling has been opened since January and it’s already the spot to be in. Every Saturday they host tours + tastings complete with a food truck!
