My love for comfortability (word or not a word? we may never know) is unparalleled. Very rarely will you see me in heels. And I would easily choose warmth, comfort, and really overall personal sanity over fashion, heels, and “in” items.
Now don’t misjudge me too soon. I ADORE fashion like no other. I’m right there with you eying the latest looks on the runways. I read all the latest fashion mags, and obsess over celebrities’ dresses days after awards show. I tell you, if I could walk in 5 inch heels, and still be comfortable, I would so do it. But that just isn’t reality for me. So normcore it is for me.
When the “normcore” trend started blowing up, I was pleasantly thrilled that I was finally going to be part of the fashion society! (JK, I was really just happy someone realized how cozy it is dress this way.) So here I am, dressing as I would years and years ago, except now someone has decided that this is IN! How amazing that my sneakers, jeans, beanies, and oversized scarves are fashionable now. Let’s hope this idea never dies because I would really love to continue to be one with the fashionables.
And in case you were wondering, my normcore style is a fusion of Sporty Normcore mixed with Mom Normcore and a dash of Secretly Fancy Normcore.
