One of the most interesting Smithsonian Museums – in my opinion – is the Hirshhorn Museum & Scultpure Garden.

It has such mesmerizing exhibitions that it’s so easy to loose track of time in there. We spent Thanksgiving morning exploring a few museums and I loved it. Each museum was so peaceful and we were able to spend as much time as we wanted in each exhibition. The holidays is probably one of the best days to explore downtown.

I was going straight to Thanksgiving dinner from the museums so I knew I had to be comfortable, yet still a bit festive. Paired some skinny jeans (I know, WHAT was I thinking?) with a flowy green top & a blazer. Topped it off with fun, colorful jewelry and my favorite flats.

I am a sucker for a nice pair of black flats, and I am always on the lookout for some that are more than just a basic flat. These definitely take the prize on being a perfect pair of edgy black flats.
