One thing you should know about me is my desire to help others in any way possible.

I love companies who have a purpose. Companies who use their influence for the greater good of the world. Companies like Warby Parker, who provides glasses to those in need; Pencils of Promise, who knows the power of a great education.

And Bangs Shoes. What first attracted me to this brand was, of course, the shoes. Their minimal design & vibrant color drew me in and I wanted to know more about them.

Once I researched, I knew this was a brand I could get behind. Their mission is: “Help Others, Help Themselves.” This mission truly struck a cord with me because of my background. I was raised with the notion that I could do anything if only I tried. This is what their mission means to me. They want to give everyone the opportunity to be successful in any endeavor they may want to take. And everyone’s success stems from someone believing in them enough to help them take that first step in attaining their goal.

I wanted to be part of this notion and that was my main reason for getting this pair of shoes. Not only were they cute & minimal- just my style – but they also had a wonderful cause behind them.
