I live for that gritty and reckless energy that overcomes me every time I step foot in DC.

I grew up in a suburban neighborhood that was 5 miles from DC. Every weekend my family and I would travel those five miles into the city to shop, eat, and attend church.

This city amazed me since day one. The car ride to my new home from Reagan Airport on that snowy December sparked my love for DC. The juxtaposition of darken alleyways with lit up monuments, street dwellers with National Guards, and million dollar houses with run-down apartment buildings always intrigued me. It was and is a city for everyone.

I’ve traveled to many cities since that December, but I always seem to return back to home. DC. The city of opportunity. The city of dreams. Staple Designs has that same love for his city and it shows with his collections, and his lookbooks, and his interviews. Check this one out to be inspired!
